Chelsea 2-2* Manchester United (2009-10 FA Community Shield)
From TheChels.info - The Chelsea Football Club Wiki
The 2009 FA Community Shield was contested between 2009 FA Cup-winners Chelsea and 2009-10 League champions [[Manchester United] at Wembley Stadium on 9 August 2009. It was Chelsea's eighth appearance in the annual season-opener, and the fourth time the Blues had won the trophy.
The match resulted in a 2-2 draw following an injury time Wayne Rooney equaliser, with Chelsea winning the subsequent penalty shoot-out. Goals from Ricardo Carvalho and Frank Lampard had earlier turned the match in Chelsea's favour after an early opening goal from Nani. This was the first time since a 1998 League Cup quarter final against Ipswich Town that Chelsea had won a competitive match on penalties.
