Sidney Ernest Rowland "Sid" Castle (12 March 1892 - 1978) was an outside right who played for Chelsea between 1923 and 1926.
Castle started his career in local leagues, representing Basingstoke Town, Thornycroft Athletic and Guildford United, before signing for Tottenham Hotspur after the First World War. After making just five apperances he moved to Charlton Athletic, where he established himself in the side; scoring 10 goals in 66 league appearances.
Castle then signed for Chelsea, and made 25 appearances in his debut season, scoring twice as Chelsea were relegated from the First Division. He appeared occasionally during the following season before returning to Guildford United where he finished his playing career.
