At the end of March 1959, the Chelsea Youth team went to Cannes, in the south of France, to compete (and win) the prestigious Cannes International Football Festival.
It is believed, but unclear, if they returned once again to compete in the AJAX and ADO tournaments, as no details have been discovered.
Other than these tournaments, it is thought that no other friendly matches were played this season
