The Chelsea Youth team were back competing in a tournament in the 1981-82 season, this time going to Groningen in Holland to play in the Eurovoetball tournament at the beginning of June 1982; unfortunately, although the opponents are known, no results are known.
The number of pre-season friendlies increased to 7 in the 1981-82 season, but information has still been hard to find, with the exception of the Welling United match.
