Once again for the 2003/04 season Chelsea returned to the training camp in Italy, playing against Cascia before moving to Lazio.
They then flew to the Far East to play in the F. A. Premier Asia Cup, beating Newcastle United 5-4 on penalties in the final.
Chelsea then flew back to England to play a further couple of matches before the season started.
