For the 2011/12 season Chelsea were invited to compete in the Barclays Aria Trophy, where they finished up as winners.
Before competing in the tournament Chelsea had played two friendly matches in England, and a further two in Malaysia and Thailand, on their way to Hong Kong.
Chelsea played a final friendly against Rangers in Glasgow before the season started and finished up with a 100% pre-season record.
