East Anglian Cup
From TheChels.info - The Chelsea Football Club Wiki
Although competed for by the same teams that entered the Eastern Counties League the East Anglian Cup was an entirely different competition, the only connection being that the same committee ran the competition.
Chelsea had a quiet time in this competition, playing just seven games in the five seasons – being knocked out in their first match of the season on three of the five occasions that they entered.
Here are the results of the matches followed by the overall players’ statistics for the five seasons combined – unfortunately only two of the players are known in respect of the West Ham United match in the 1949/50 season, giving rise to the ‘’Missing’’ figure of ‘’9’’.
