Chelsea career
Harvey made his Under-18 debut as an Under-15 during the 2013-14 season, and began his Chelsea scholarship in July 2015. He struggled badly with injuries during his Under-16 season but returned to full fitness in time for the start of his scholarship in 2015-16, when he finished with a solid return of eight goals having split his appearances between starts and coming off the bench as an impact substitute.
He started 2016-17 with five goals in his first five matches for the Under-18s, and contributed effectively in bunches over the duration of the season. He notched 8 goals and 11 assists overall whilst helping the youth team to a domestic treble, and got his first taste of Development Squad football ahead of moving up full-time at the end of the campaign. He featured in 22 matches the following season, whilst also playing a big role in the club reaching another UEFA Youth League Final, but despite being offered a new deal at the end of his contract he opted to sign a three-year deal with Venezia in June 2018.

Harvey has represented Scotland up to Under-21 level and remains eligible for England.
