Chelsea career
Comfortable in any of the three roles Chelsea desired in the middle of the park, Jordan was a natural leader who captained the Under-16s team at times, and held an on-pitch persona displaying a confident and encouraging young man.
With two good feet, a nice long pass and a threat off long shots, he was able to contribute effectively when making the step up to Under-18 football. The 2007-08 season was disrupted by a leg injury ruling him out fpr most of the middle of the campaign, but towards the end of the year his fitness returned and he was part of a group of youngsters called into the Reserve mix.
In September 2008, Jordan left the club's academy with a surprising abruptness, citing the desire to play for a club closer to his South London home.
International
Jordan has not represented England at any level.

Post Chelsea Career
A trial with Charlton followed but they decided not to pursue a deal, leaving Jordan in a quandary. Eventually he settled at Barnsley and did well enough to sign professional terms and make the first team bench, although a senior debut didn't follow. In 2010 he was released on a free transfer and was last on trial at Leeds United.
He signed for Queens Park Rangers in late 2010 and went on loan to Boreham Wood, where he made 8 league appearances. He was released in January 2011 and had minor spells at Sutton United and Billericay Town before joining SC Farense for 2011-12. His overseas adventure continued into 2012-13 when he moved to Swedish club Athletic FC, but a return to England soon beckoned with spells at non-league Thamesmead Town, Met Police and Dulwich Hamlet.
