Rick Glanvill is a writer, genealogist, researcher, journalist and Chelsea supporter. He has been the official historian of Chelsea FC since 2005. Rick was first taken to games as a child by his father in the early 1960s. [1] Having written several books on Chelsea he was asked to write two books for the club's centenary, ‘Chelsea FC: The Official Biography’ and ‘A History In Pictures’. He compiles 'pre-match briefings' for the official Chelsea website along with official club statistician Paul Dutton, and played a central role in the creation and curation of the Chelsea Museum at Stamford Bridge. [2] He is also a Director on the Chelsea Pitch Owners board.
