Victorien Angban (born 29 September 1996 in Cote D'Ivoire) is a midfielder who formerly played for Chelsea.

Before Chelsea
Victorien initially appeared for Chelsea as a trialist in 2012 and, much like Bertrand Traore, remained a long-term trialist before signing officially in January 2015.
Chelsea career
On July 14th 2015 it was announced that Victorien would spend the season on loan at Belgian club Sint-Truiden. His spell was generally successful as he started off a regular feature in the team but three red cards, including two against Anderlecht in home and away fixtures, meant his involvement towards the end of the season was curtailed for the Jupiler League strugglers.
2016-17 saw him loaned to La Liga side Granada, a transient team almost entirely comprised of temporary loan signings, and he made just eleven appearances in a disappointing campaign. Heading back to Belgium in 2017-18, Waasland-Beveren claimed his signature and an option to make his stay permanent, but despite making more than thirty appearances he also courted controversy. His two red cards earned him five matches worth of suspensions.
He joined Metz on loan in France's Ligue 2 for 2018-19 and helped them secure promotion back to the top flight. As a condition of his loan, Metz were obliged to pay €6m to make the stay a permanent one, bringing an end to his Chelsea career.
International
Victorien made his full international debut for the Ivory Coast on May 20th 2016 against Hungary, having previously represented the Elephants at every youth age level.
