Chelsea career
A versatile defender, Kevin had to wait until his first year as a scholar to make his Under-18 debut but came along very quickly and established himself as a consistently impressive performer in the first half of the season. When Adam Nditi suffered an injury in April 2013, he was given further opportunities in the FA Youth Cup and NextGen Series fixtures and performed admirably, eventually earning Under-21 representation in his first season as a scholar.
He graduated on an almost regular basis after signing a professional deal in the summer of 2013 and became Dermot Drummy's first choice left-back in the run up to Christmas. Unfortunately, a long-term injury ruled him out for the majority of the rest of the campaign as he made just one appearance between January and May and one more between August and December in 2014-15. Further problems persisted until the end of the campaign, with an injury-free summer hopefully leading to a positive 2015-16, but it unfortunately failed to materialise. Limited to just 12 appearances all season, he headed out on trial late in the season at the likes of Sheffield Wednesday in search of a contract offer upon the expiry of his Chelsea deal. He was released in June 2016.
International
Kevin has no international representation to date.
