Before Chelsea
Born in Lomma, Sweden, Jörgensen began his youth journey with GIF Nike, then Malmö FF, and Mallorca during his early years. In 2017, he joined Villarreal’s academy and rose through the ranks. He debuted with Villarreal B in 2020 and made his senior first-team debut in 2021. By the 2022–23 season, he had become the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, earning recognition for his shot-stopping and exceptional distribution.
Chelsea career
2024–25 Season
Jörgensen joined Chelsea in July 2024 on a long-term contract, signing from Villarreal. He quickly adapted to his new environment, featuring regularly in cup competitions. Under Enzo Maresca, he became the preferred goalkeeper in the UEFA Conference League, where he contributed significantly to Chelsea's victory in the competition. Though he shared duties with Robert Sánchez, Jörgensen established himself as a dependable and composed option between the sticks.

Eligible for both Sweden and Denmark, Jörgensen switched allegiances to Denmark in May 2021. He made his senior debut in June 2025 during a friendly win over Northern Ireland.
